Ordering & Shipping
What kinds of products do you sell?
We offer a variety of products including:
- Homemade & handcrafted items made by our team
- Products purchased from manufacturers for resale
- Print-on-demand rescue merchandise featuring our ECWAR logo (fulfilled through our print partners)
How are orders fulfilled and shipped?
It depends on the product:
- Homemade & resale items can be mailed or picked up in Edmonton, AB — just let us know your preference!
- Manufacturer items are shipped directly from the supplier.
- Print-on-demand rescue merchandise is fulfilled and shipped by our print partner after your order is placed.
Because of this, items in the same order may arrive separately and at different times — that's completely normal!
How long does shipping take?
Processing times vary by product type. Once shipped, estimated delivery times are:
- Canada & USA: 5–15 business days
- International: 10–25 business days
Orders are not processed on weekends or holidays. Local Edmonton pickup is available for select items — contact us to arrange.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Please allow a few hours after receiving your notification for tracking to update.
Can I pick up my order in Edmonton?
Yes! For homemade and resale items, local pickup in Edmonton is available. Please contact us at snowpawstreasures@gmail.com to arrange a pickup time.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to update your address. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed. Customers are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, in its original condition, with tags and original packaging. To start a return, please contact us at snowpawstreasures@gmail.com before sending anything back — returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Can I return rescue merchandise with the ECWAR logo?
Yes! As long as the item has not been customized to you personally (e.g., no custom name or personalization), it is eligible for return within 14 days under our standard return policy.
What items cannot be returned?
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Perishable goods
- Personal care products
- Sale items
- Gift cards
How do exchanges work?
We don't process direct exchanges. Simply return your eligible item and place a new order for what you'd like instead.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
What if my item arrived damaged or defective?
Please contact us immediately with photos of the damage at snowpawstreasures@gmail.com. We'll make it right!

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and payment methods available through Shopify Payments at checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Absolutely. All transactions are processed securely. We never store your payment details.
About SnowPaws Trinkets and Treasures & ECWAR
What is SnowPaws Trinkets and Treasures?
We're an animal-loving shop based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, proudly supporting ECWAR (Edmonton Cold Weather Animal Rescue). This store is run by ECWAR's core admins as a way to support ourselves while bringing you great products for you and your pet. Our store features homemade goods, curated products, and rescue-branded merchandise — all with a purpose.
The History of ECWAR
In August 2020, a chance meeting at a shelter building event brought 5 people together — forming the foundation of ECWAR.
At the event, the host had rescued five cats from a garbage bin. Together, the group found fosters, secured vetting, and successfully adopted out all five. As word spread, more requests for help came in, and before long, ECWAR was caring for 23 cats with a network of fosters across the city.
Record-keeping started in a notebook, moved to Excel spreadsheets, and now ECWAR has a full database instrumental in its continued growth.
Over the last 6 years, we've had a few people who were instrumental in our growth, and in the last couple of years we've welcomed 5 additional strong core members. Everyone is a volunteer — each one has to work outside the rescue to pay their own bills, which is exactly why this store was created. Running ECWAR is a full-time, unpaid job, and your support through this store helps make it possible.
ECWAR developed a robust database, website, and relationships with local vets, building a community of over 12,000 members.
Our team of volunteer admins work tirelessly, 24/7, 365 days a year, driven by a shared vision. We've had many people come and go — all were part of shaping who we are today.
ECWAR is now an official non-profit and registered charity with the CRA. We can issue tax receipts starting at $3.00 upon request.
To date, we've rescued 2,177 cats and adopted out 1,709. We typically have 100–170 cats in care at any given time. Some have been reunited with owners, transferred to other rescues, or have crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge.
We have saved countless cats from euthanasia due to injury, illness, or both.
What makes us different is we take the cases no one else will. We save the cats no one else will.
Our goals include establishing a sanctuary to intake all cats in need — staffed by dedicated professionals including a vet tech and vet — where we never say no.
We strive to make a meaningful impact, breaking the cycle of unwanted animals and uncontrolled breeding. We advocate for stronger laws and consequences for abandonment and abuse, working towards a better future for all animals.
